LETHALFORCE

This the Indian armies MBT we need to
give Arjun a chance even with Reactive armor these tanks are blown to pieces by RPG's and these are the
good local models the export models are worst.

Non of the Pic is of T-90

Its a T-72BM which looks like a T-90 just because of similar layout of K-5 era tiles on Turret (but the layout is not Identical) try to compare a pic of T-90 and ur pic u have posted u can find the differences.

HINT: ur pic has a search light next to main gun and the the K-5 TILES where as non of the T-90 has a search light. Even if equipped with shotra the layout is not identical.

this is a t-72 I don't believe t-90s
have been deployed if they were an
embarrassment like this might ruin their export market.

Nice picture!!!

God know, What the Army seen in the T-90s.

There was hell of a comparisons and testings being held between Arjun and T-90s. The Arjun Tanks came up superior to T-90 but still dunno why the Army wants T-90s.

Is because Arjun is a Heavy Tank where has compare to T-90 which is lighter, cheaper and easy to maintain??

these images are infact of a
T-72BM, which is simply a T-72B with K-5 ERA tiles around the turret...

what you are seeing in the picture is a T-72BM that was at the time sitting empty and was struck by atleast 2 rockets from the BM-21 MLRS system operated by the Georgians as they commited their cowardly sneak attack during the night...

Russian Forces then came in an destroyed 64 Georgian T-72 and T-62's in tank on tank warfare...

atleast 14 of these kills can be saftly claimed by the use of only 2 Russian T-90's which were sent in with the 58th army... Russia by the way, took no armor losses during the entire war

To LETHALFORCE,

Look, ANY tank can be destroyed by an RPG... incase you were out of the loop during the Iraq war, thats what they are [designed] to do!

the T-90 as tested by both the Germans and the Americans is completly immune to both countries most advanced DU and Tungsten SABOT ammunitions...

to answer the question here, the T-90 is better than the Arjun, and pretty much any other tank for that matter

Guys, that is T-72 of peacekeepers batalion. During the combat it shots all shells and crew decided to destroy the tank.

hi guys!! i don't think rpg's or tungsten bullets would be of any threat to almost any tank... it could have been by a cousin for the HELL FIRE MISSILES....
Arjun is good but has some problems in high temp... i am sure it doesn't comprimise much and will make it in the best weapons list

balC, it was the T-90 which has a problem in high temp deserts, where its electronics cook off and the crew faints as it has no AC. arjun's temperature problems have been solved 10 years ago.
